Swing For the Fences 5K

Hello Nether Swarthmore Baseball and Softball Families,

 

We are excited to announce our inaugural “Swing for the Fences 5K” Run/Walk, scheduled for 7:00PM on Friday, June 3^rd in Swarthmore.  This event will serve as our primary fundraiser for improving safety features at local athletic fields – specifically for building better and safer dugouts for the boys and girls of our community.  Every single dollar makes a difference!

 

2SP Brewing Company has generously stepped up to serve as our primary sponsor for this fun event, and they’ll be there for the post-race celebration, along with some of your favorite local businesses – Ship Bottom Brewery, Renato Pizza, and Aria Mediterranean Cuisine.  It should be a fun night for everyone in the community!

 

Come join us:

 

• Register by May 27, 11:59 p.m. = $40 for adults (21 and over); $30 for 20 and under
• Register May 28-June 3 = $50 for adults (21 and over); $40 for 20 and under
• Early registrants (by May 20^th) will receive a super-cool NSBS race t-shirt
• Race starts and ends on Park Avenue in Swarthmore, PA
• Prizes from 2SP (and other local businesses) for top-3 finishers in several age groups
